Paul Henry lived up to his top billing and then some at a Pohlen Foundation Trust fundraiser on November 19th. The media personality wowed a sell out crowd of 128 at the Matamata Golf Club, raising $7000 for the hospitals new wing project. Ladies Luncheon at Longlands

We were delighted to have 118 ladies attend our annual luncheon. Proceeds went to the Pohlen Hospital New Wing Project.

Mid Winter Christmas Festival in Matamata

7th - 9th July
The Pohlen Hospital and Child Cancer Charity Group organised a fabulous Mid-Winter Christmas Festival. Atlhough it was July it definitely looked like Christmas time at Matamata Bible Church. The three day festival had many Christmas displays, performances and fabulous Christmas fare. It was well supported by our local community and was a resounding success. Proceeds from this event will support the New Wing Project.

2011 Charity Golf Tournament

We held our Charity Golf tournament recently. it was glorious weather for golfing and 23 teams enjoyed the day. Thank you to Matamata Golf Club who waived our green fees, and Keith Lunn and Tony Bailey who organised the event. We appreciated support from our main sponsor TRAC Sports Bar and donation by NZCT. Proceeds from this event will support the New Wing Project.
